Hello teacher! This is the last blog of this semester:
The truth is that since school "English" has always been difficult for me, I do not know why, but I think I do not like it very much. Although I put all the enthusiasm, it has never been easily given to me. I think that this semester, as in all of them, I have tried to learn and I have tried to fulfill what I have been asked to do. I think I have to improve all aspects of my English. I have to improve grammar, pronunciation and my understanding. Although I do not like languages ​​very much, I am very clear that learning languages ​​is very important and fundamental for the future. In order to travel and study in different countries, it is necessary to know the English language, even if it is basically and I would like to travel the world and study in other countries in order to perfect myself as a professional. Outside of classes the truth is that I do not use English almost for nothing, the use I give is very basic.
The course I think has helped me to review things seen in previous English courses and learn again things that perhaps had already forgotten. And I also liked taking the bouquet with Professor Rosa, because I studied English with her and I think I learned many things that were good for English 4. Maybe taking the English 4 was difficult for me but I think I learned the necessary things to know how to express myself correctly and understand what is said in English.

Post 9: Changes to my study programme

When you enter to study Public Administration the truth is that I did not know very well the mesh nor the courses that I had to do. After the time I was able to learn more about the courses. The courses are varied: Finance, research, history, public policies, political science, among others. Although the courses are very varied I think there should be other more practical areas. An example of this would be to work more in services or ministries, seeing directly how public administrators work in reality. I would also like the teachers to be more committed to the courses and to have more communication with the students. Maybe use other more participatory teaching methods and leave the eternal power point sides.
As for the infrastructure where the race takes place, I think that something fundamental would be to have a library and a larger computer lab, where all the students can have access at the moment they need it. At present these places collapse and not all students can use this to work.
The duration of the degree is 10 semesters and maybe not all the classes taught are necessary. Clearly there are some that do not work, and others that should receive more attention. On the other hand, due to the "paros" of all the years, learning is hard affected and most of the time the objectives established at the beginning of the year are not achieved. The "paro" is seen as the main difficulty to achieve the expected learning and achieve a good relationship between teacher and students.

Post 8: Your opinion

What is your opinion about having an exotic pet?
In my opinion animals should be free and happy. Exotic animals refer mainly to animals that do not belong to the city or to life with humans. I believe that animals should not be removed from their place of origin only because humans have the desire to have them. Animals are not a thing and deserve respect for them and their natural habitat.
What is your opinion about women in the army?
Women in the army believe that they play a secondary role in relation to the role played by men. In Chile, very recently, a woman was allowed to opt for the position of "commander in chief". In the army, women must comply with makeup and clothing protocols that encasillan them in a stereotype. Must wear skirt and strong makeup, for me this should change adapting to modern times.
What is your opinion about recycling?
Recycling seems to me to be fundamental in 21st century society, since as countries we produce thousands of tons of waste and garbage per day, this situation has caused the oceans to be contaminated and the lives of animals to be altered. Pollution and the production of waste also affects us as humans, therefore, recycling is seen as a good option to reduce the waste produced, transforming this same garbage into something that can be reused.
What is your opinion about the legalization of abortion in some cases?
In my opinion, the legalization of abortion should be free for all women in any case. I believe that abortion should be an exclusive decision of women, since, nowadays, the opinions of the church and the state have made women in Chile not free to decide about their bodies. The woman in Chile is forced to be a mother even when she does not want to be.

Blog7: My best friend

Lately they have been difficult times for me and when you have problems you can see with clarity those who really imprison you and love you. In this last time my life changed a lot and people that I thought were very close indeed were not. I know that many times in life this will happen, people that you consider friends and friends will stop being from one day to the next. These situations can hurt a lot but how everything in life will happen. But despite these bad times you can always value the people who remain by your side despite everything. These people can be called friends, and those are the people who will accompany you for a long time.

However, there is a person who in spite of everything will always accompany me and will be my best friend forever: My older sister Romina. We are both very different but over the years we have learned to accompany and listen to each other. She is the fundamental support in my life and in the person I trust the most. I think your company always does me good.

I would also like to mention a special person who has accompanied me for many years with his unconditional friendship: My best friend Bastian. We met as children of 15 years and that friendship has lasted until today. It's like the little brother I never had and I know I can always trust him. Many times I have thought about all the friendships that have passed through my life and I can say that today I am very grateful to the people who have been with me in this difficult year for me.

Post 6: Postgraduate studies

I would like in the future to do a diploma, a magister or a doctorate, or do all three. I would like to specialize, I do not know what I'm still thinking about, I'm not sure. The truth is that I would like to go back to study another career and maybe specialize in something else. In the career I am studying now, there are two magister that the institute teaches: public management and political science. I think the line that I would like to follow is the one of political science, I believe that my interests go towards that sense. I would also like to do a diploma in some subject that has to do with human rights or something like that. I would like to do these studies in Chile at my university if possible, even though I know it costs money and it is difficult to obtain a scholarship so I would have to get a job and raise money to do it. I would also like to do a doctorate
in another country, I do not have preferences. I think that studying in another country would be an extraordinary experience and it would be very useful for me to develop my career in the future.
It would be a dream to be able to meet and have the opportunity to do research in another country and learn new languages ​​and know new places. Although I would always like to go back to Chile and live here and do my job to help people in the country.

Since I was little I have been very hesitant and I thought many ideas that I could do when I grew up. However, when I was in high school I became very interested in the subject of history. From that moment my dream was to work as a history teacher. Teaching seems to me a fundamental task in society, since you transfer your knowledge to other people. I would like to work in a school or in the university, but for things of the life I do not study "history" and I am studying "Public administration". My dream is still to do classes but now of some topic that has to do with my career. Maybe this career is more work in the office and more formal, which I do not like at all. I would like to work outdoors, travel a lot and know different places helping people with my work or teaching.
I think that I am very young and that I still do not have many things clear, so I still have time to think about what I will do later on. I would like to work with kind and friendly people, hopefully someone who likes their work very much and who does it with the best desire always trying to contribute positively to the world.

I've never been good at watching TV, nor to be a fan of anything but this last time I've tried to watch series on my

free time and I found many interesting series in this blog I will talk about two of them. The first series I saw on netflix was "the girls of the cable", the series was set in 1928 in a modern telecommunications company that starts operating in Madrid. The series narrates the turn that gives the life of four young women who get the job in the company to manage calls in Madrid. I like the series because it is set in a different time and it is interesting to see how things worked before there was technology today, also has a good love story that is always interesting.

The second good series that I saw on Netflix was the "peaky blinders" this series is also set in the 1920s in England. The series is about three brothers who fought in the First World War who form a "gangster" band that competes in horse races. The series tells the story of this band and how they are gaining place in their city to become important people, all this through violence and money.

I would definitely like to meet many people from the show. I would like to meet singers, actors and television animators but there is a special actor that catches my attention: Keanu Reeves. Many things are spoken of him. They say he is a very lonely and mysterious person.

Keanu Reeves is a Beirut (Lebanese) actor and has Canadian nationality, he grew up in Canada. He is the son of separated parents and grew up alone with his mother and his sister Kim. In 1999 his career was consolidated with the movie "the matrix", a film considered "cult" nowadays. The matrix saga was very famous taking two more movies with the same theme.

Keanu Reeves has suffered many losses in his life, first the death of his best friend River Phoenix in 1993 and then the death of his daughter just born in 1999 and finally the death of his girlfriend in 2001 marked him in his life. Years later his sister is diagnosed with leukemia situation that affected him in the same way. In my opinion Keanu Reeves is a strong and resilient person, who despite being a super movie star has learned from pain and leads a simple life by contributing almost all his money in charitable donations

The best concert of my life? so far the best has been the "w" festival. My best friend Claudia participated in a contest for tickets to the "w" festival that was in the "bicentenario" stadium of Florida and wind. These tickets were VIP and they had a pass to meet in person our favorite band "Cultura profetica". December 12 was the festival. In the festival there were different bands and singers of reggae and rap. Singers like Method men and Mcklopedia were my favorites. The festival lasted all day, from 12:00 to 22:00 was a very hot and rainy day, something very strange in Santiago.
I remember having a good time, singing all the songs and dancing a lot. The most important moment of the night came to the end when we used our pass to meet the members of "cultura profetica

" personally. I remember we had to enter behind the scenes to meet us. They welcomed us with a lot of affection and sympathy, we took lots of photos and recorded many videos. Unfortunately I lost my cell phone a short time and I lost the photos and videos of the festival, but I keep the good memories of that day.

A country a would like to visit is Greece because in greese born democracy, philosophy, maths, history and politics. Besides atenas stand out for the architecture and history. Atenas is the oldest city it has the acropolis and turistic suburb. Atenas exist 3000 years and is a centre cultural where live different thinkers important the occidental culture and history.
I woukd like to go to Greece because this country represent many periods of to history. I would like study in this city and visit places to learn.
In this country I would like to visit beaches and ruins. In Greece was born the olimpic games.
The geography is mountainous land to form a peninsula.

Hi! My name is Catalina Zumelzú Neira. I study Public Administration at University of Chile. I believe in this career I can do great things, with public service vocation.
I think my weaknesses is bad memory and I feel shy when  I pronuence  words in class.
I believe my strengths is intention to learn and good pronuenciation.
